Wellness is both perceived and measurable. We know when we are doing right by our bodies and our minds. I believe most of us know when we aren't truly practicing healthful habits.
Sometimes we just need some structure and outside motivation. Other times, we need advice. With that in mind, I wanted to share with you some information I recently found.
Wellness ToolBox is a "powerful and sophisticated way to utilize medical information to
promote wellness and manage illness that maximizes any fitness or
wellness program you are using." To see for yourself, click here.
Be aware that you are able to access these tools only with a monthly subscription fee. For some, however, the structure provided could outweigh the small monthly cost.
For those who suffer from chronic pain from old injuries, this may offer some help and hope. The Fedenkrais Method is when "practitioners use gentle movement and directed attention with the aim of increasing ease and range of motion, improving flexibility and coordination and ultimately rediscovering an innate capacity for graceful, efficient movement."
Read the article I've linked to above to find more information about the Feldenkrais Guild of North America and how to reach them.
And now for something fun....did you ever wish the beer you were drinking was doing more than contributing to the largess of your mid-section? Apparently, drinking beer also develops healthy bones and beautiful skin! Curious? Read more here.
If you found any of these tips helpful, please let me know!
Why is understanding your own perception of health and wellness beneficial?

Great post! Thanks for the tips. ...I knew beer must have some other benefits! For example - my mum feels better if she gets dizzy and than drinks one beer. She says it's better than aspirin :)
